Welcome to Strategies for Supporting Twice-Exceptional Students.
Neurodiversity Alliance is excited to partner with WAETAG to bring this course to the educators in Washington.
This course consists of six modules which can be completed in any order. Approved clock hours are available through WAETAG upon the completion of each course. Clock hours vary between modules.
Strategies for Supporting Twice-Exceptional Students:
Module 1: Foundations of Teaching Twice-Exceptional Students = 3.0 hours
Module 2: Affective Needs and Motivation in Twice-Exceptional Students = 3.0 hours
Module 3: Executive Functioning in Twice-Exceptional Students = 1.5 hours
Module 4: Specific Learning Disabilities (Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia) = 2.0 hours
Module 5: Neurodevelopmental Diagnoses (ADHD and Autism) = 2.5 hours
Module 6: Anxiety, Depression, and Related Diagnoses = 1.5 hours
TOTAL: 13.5 Clock Hours
(WAETAG Sponsored Clock Hours available upon completion of evaluation at the end of each module.)
